Adoo Atera is a development professional, educator, and youth advocate with a passion for creating systems and opportunities that empower young people to thrive.

As Chief of Staff (Operations & Organizational Development) at Youth Employ (YE), she provides strategic and operational support to the organization’s leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, strengthening internal systems, and ensuring the successful implementation of programmes and initiatives.
With a background spanning education, youth development, programme management, and nonprofit leadership, Adoo has worked with diverse organizations leading projects focused on education, gender equality, employability, and youth empowerment. She is particularly passionate about helping young people access the tools, skills, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential.

Adoo holds a First-Class degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in History and International Relations. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Globalisation and Development Studies at Liverpool Hope University. Beyond her professional work, she is an author, mentor, and advocate for social impact, committed to advancing inclusive development and creating pathways for meaningful change in communities.
